Situated in the heart of the Somerset Cheddar producing region, just 10 miles from the village of Cheddar itself, the South West Cheese Awards are relatively new to the Mid Somerset show. With 79 different classes covering Cheddar to Goat’s Cheese and Stilton to Brie, the awards are a fantastic opportunity to showcase the finest cheesemakers in the country. The Awards are growing to be a huge success and are establishing themselves as a major date in the dairy event calendar.
