For over 20 years the Guild of Fine Food World Cheese Awards has been bringing together buyers and sellers from the dairy industry worldwide. The awards have grown into the largest international event of its type in the world, attracting over 2,700 entries in 2012 from over 30 countries and judged by over 200 expert buyers from every corner of the globe.
The following awards were won in 2015:
- Hard pressed or repressed cheddar with savoury additives – Silver for Cheddar with Scotch Bonnet
- Single Stilton, cut, mature – Bronze for Mature Blue Stilton
The following awards were won in 2014:
- Any cheese that has been awarded Supreme Champion (or its equivalent) in a national or international cheese awards in any country – Supergold for Smooth Blue
- Blue vein cheese any variety, uncut, natural rind – Silver for Smooth Blue
- Blue vein cheese any variety, uncut, natural rind – Silver for Shropshire Blue
- Blue vein cheese any variety, uncut, foil wrapped – Bronze for Smooth Blue
