Valentine’s Bake Off
Long Clawson Dairy has celebrated Valentine’s Day this year by holding a staff bake off competition and cake sale.
Cakes were judged on their taste, but extra points were given for those with a love theme or Air Ambulance theme.
The winner: Sweetheart Fairy Cakes by Heidi Gough
The winning cakes, made by Technical Director Heidi Gough, were simple vanilla cupcakes with a not-so-simple pink and white icing decoration and heart marshmallow on top.
All cake entries went on sale afterwards to raise money for our chosen charity; the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance. In total we raised £43.34 from the bake off and cake sale.
